Maybe worth it if I paid half the price! Not sure if it would be, even then. The location is 10/10, right next to La Isla shopping. Beach is wonderful.
Thats about it. Service is very 50/50, some people are excellent, others are horrible. Nothing in between.
Drinks are also 50/50. Some times fine, some times very bad.
Food is probably the worst thing about this place. Both the small selection and the quality. I am not a picky eater, and been to maaaany all inclusive resorts and never eaten this bad food. And Ive been to alot cheaper and lower stars resorts too!
Also I would never go here if if youre either celiac, gluten sensitivities or vegetarian/vegan. Very bad cross contamination with one spoon for 10 trays.
Rooms are nice, and they are clean! BUT there is no fridge? I feel like that is a bare minimum at an all inclusive resort. Especially because they advertise they give you free bottles of water at the room. Which we btw only got a few times during our stay.
But the room experience is also ruined by the horrible lack of sound proofing. Ive never experienced this before, you could literally hear the neighbors whisper, and people walking in the hallway. Woke up many times and very hard to sleep.
I also wanna add something I found quite funny with the snack bar. They have a big menu going in there, but when we were there they didnt have half the stuff. One man working there tocuhed everything with his hands, maybe not so covid friendly? And you can order mashed potatoes there, but be aware you need to eat it with your hands, haha 😂 I asked for a fork, they looked at me like I was stupid, and said «no fork». Keep in mind the rest of the restaurants were closed at this point so there were no place to get this.
There were just too many «bad experiences» happening at this short stay for this to be a good experience, and we paid quite a high nightly rate for my expectations to be lower. Hopefully this hotel will do stuff to improve and become better!
