Hotel Do Chiado
Hotel do Chiado is located in Chiado, Lisbon's historic district, near Bairro Alto, Rossio Square and Avenida da Liberdade. The hotel was built in the historic building of Armazéns do Chiado, nowadays a shopping centre, which was completely restored by the famous architect Siza Vieira after the tragic fire of 1988. Situated in Chiado, the trendiest, most elegant and chic meeting point in Lisbon, this is the only hotel in town that offers rooms with private terraces and panoramic views of the Castle and the Tagus River. The subway station Baixa-Chiado is located beneath the building and guests can easily find a taxi service next to the hotel.
The bar Entretanto, located on the 7th floor is well-known for having the best view of Lisbon. It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, an informal meeting or just to relax at the end of a working day.

- 3My opinion about this hotelFrancisco - Feb 28, 2010
I must say that it is a beatiful Hotel, very central, extraordinary view over the City and the castle, very good taste in the uncommon furnishings.
The room I had was very large and comfortable.
Service was was also very nice.
The only critical aspect I see, was the very modest breakfast buffet. No comparison to buffets in Poland, Austria, Spain etc.
