Excellent staff and location but that's where it stops. The place stinks, lacks cleanliness, has old and awful fitments to the rooms including the beds, pullos, tv. and is circa 1970. It is by any description terrible and is on its last legs through zero investment. May by cheap but certainly isn't cheerful. I'm still at a loss as to why I was asked and had to pay a room deposit on arrival which was actually more than the room cost itself. Would I recommend or return, not a prayer.
-My opinion about this hotel BetaniaJohn - 11 Nov 2014
We stayed in Betania last year. This year we booked very late and Betania was a cheaper choice. We know we can find parking nearby and knew the motorway exit to go directly there (near to the Tivoli World cable car). The TV was Spanish channels only, but we came for a bed and coffee in the morning only. It has Wi Fi at ground level which we found useful for Skype. It is in a good location. We used it as a base to drive along the coast to my mum\'s in Riviera Del Sol.
We had room 309 last year and 103 this year-double rooms. Room 103 was better-more light and space.
We would stay in Betania again because of the price and ease of parking on the nearby streets.
