Very friendly, comfortable, and affordable place.
    Marcus - Aug 13, 2017

Although there is sometimes a bit of noise from the cars in the street, this is generally a quiet place. The rooms are cleaned daily (except on Sundays), and the garden is well-kept. The swimming-pool is a bit small, but it turned out that it was not too crowded (this will depend a bit on the public). You will need a key to access the pool area. Service was very good. The reception is staffed 24/7, and they are very friendly and helpful. The apartment kitchen is well-equipped. It has no microwave, but it does have an oven and a ceramic stove with 4 burners.

There are super markets in the neighbourhood, and also some restaurants. These are generally even cheaper than the ones in the city centre. The apartments are at some distance from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz though. It is possible to walk to the centre, but we ended up taking the car, as walking back uphill required just a bit too much effort for our liking. It is possible to park for free at the 'docks' close to the city centre. Parking space is a bit scarce in the direct vicinity of the apartments, although a parking area was being created in an area next to the apartments when we were there, and if you do not mind a few minutes walk, there is enough parking space a bit further away.

Navigating with a car in Puerto de la Cruz requires a bit of getting used to, because there are many one-way streets, and at some places you are not allowed to turn left. We also had a bit of trouble getting to the apartments from the highway at first, because my phone navigation messed up and sent us through some narrow streets that you'd generally want to avoid. The best route: TF-5, TF-31, TF-312, and then turn left BEFORE the botanical gardens (Camino de la Garanona). Mind you, this seems like a narrow street as well, but it is a one-way street, and you are not allowed to take a left turn AFTER the botanical gardens.
