Las Vegas is in the state of Nevada, and although it is not the capital of the state, it is the most densely populated city in the region. It is known as the worlds entertainment capital, and its origin and apogee took place in the same century, the 20th century. This place of luxury and fun stands in an almost desert-like region, and it has been idealized in many films and television series. Despite its location, it stands in an area of springs, which means that all households have water, which is even wasted in giant fountains, or imitations of the Venice canals.
With low rainfall, many hours of sunshine and warm temperatures throughout the year, Las Vegas is an ideal tourist destination during the whole year, thanks to the services the city provides.
Tourism in Las Vegas is mainly based on gaming. Crossing the axis of the Fremont Street, we can marvel at the buildings surrounding the area, the floodlit streets and the sounds and excitement throughout the day. But the night gives the city a more curious appearance to visitors, because of the boundless energy from all the casinos, arcades, cinemas, clubs, bars, theaters and other entertainments of the city.
Las Vegas is a vibrant city, with plenty of entertainment for adults and children, but mainly for adults. The central boulevard is known as 'The Strip', and almost all the casinos are aligned along this boulevard. Walking along this avenue we can admire the Eiffel Tower of the Paris Casino, the pyramids of the Luxor casino or the tent of the circus casino. Furthermore the impressive tower of the casino stratosphere, the buildings of the Big Apple in the New York casino or take a ride in the Gondola by the Venice casino. The imagination of this city has no limits. Las Vegas has become a paradise of fun, and even express weddings, as almost everything you imagine can be found in Las Vegas.
